The starter connects plan selection to Stripe Checkout and a customer billing page. Customers can review their current subscription and see a change preview before confirming a new plan.
How it works
Select a configured offer
Choose an available plan and billing period. The prices belong to your future SaaS; these sample plans are not a template purchase offer.
Complete checkout
Continue to Stripe after signing in. Payment events update the subscription; returning from checkout alone is not proof of payment.
Manage the subscription
Review renewal information, preview a plan change, or use the available cancellation and billing controls.
Show the effect of a plan change
A preview reports the amount due now, target plan, and whether the change is immediate or at period end. Pending payments and scheduled changes remain visible on the billing page.
Turn a paid plan into your product's entitlement
Billing provides subscription and membership state. You decide which real features each plan unlocks and enforce those rules in your own product operations.
Limitations
- Checkout requires configured Stripe products, credentials, and payment events. Purchases are available only when payment services are enabled.
- Refund and dispute events provide extension hooks. They do not automatically reverse product entitlements or credit purchases.
Questions
Are the displayed prices the price of the template?
No. The prices demonstrate a future product’s offers. The pricing page demonstrates offers you can configure for your own customers; hosting and service usage have separate costs.
Where does a customer change or cancel a plan?
In the subscriptions and billing page after login. Available actions depend on the current subscription and the configured payment provider.
