Draft first, publish deliberately
Create content in the administrator console and give it a stable URL. Each language has its own title, summary, Markdown body and optional search title and description. Saving updates the draft; it does not replace the published snapshot. Publish English and Chinese independently when each is ready.
The editor supports Markdown import and preview. A version check prevents an older editor tab from silently overwriting a newer save. Saving, publishing and unpublishing record the administrator and operation reason in the audit log.
Server-rendered public pages
The server reads published content and renders the public page. Initial HTML includes the heading and body; article text is not deferred to a browser request. Canonical URLs, published language alternatives and sitemap entries follow the same records. The page cache revalidates after subsequent requests; publication is not an immediate cache purge.
Your content stays yours
The starter library has an explicit preview-and-import action. It inserts missing paths through the same audited content service and skips existing paths, including drafts and unpublished pages. Reading the site never silently populates the database.
